You know the email. Numbers from memory, half of them wrong, and you retyping them into Lightroom at midnight. In a proofing gallery the client taps a heart, and you get a list of file names ready to paste into a Lightroom filter.

Not every getting-ready frame is meant for a hundred guests. Mark photos as hidden and give guests their own password — for them those frames don’t exist: not in the gallery, not at the file URL, not in the ZIP.
Change the password or remove guest access and everyone who came in with the old one is out immediately, not in a month.
Work out your season.
You pay for the space your originals take. The thumbnails and previews we generate to display galleries are on us. Galleries on paid plans: as many as you like.
Assumptions: a wedding is about 6.5 GB of originals, a smaller session about 1.2 GB. Your numbers will differ — raw exports are bigger, edited JPEGs smaller.

Out of space mid-season? Add 10 GB for €1 a month without changing plans. There is no “unlimited” plan — somebody would have to pay for it, and we would rather say plainly how much and for what.
Quiet winter? Switch to Pauza for €3 a month: client galleries stay online, uploads wait until spring. You switch it on and off yourself.
Galleries don’t vanish after a year.
An expiry date is useful — it gets clients to actually download their photos. But expiry shouldn’t mean deletion. In SilverAlbum an expired gallery goes to an archive and waits until somebody asks for it.

There are children in your clients’ photos. We take that seriously.

- Files live in a European data centre, in a private bucket. Each photo is served through a short-lived signed URL, after the access check.

- On purpose. A face scan is biometric data under the GDPR, and family and school sessions are mostly children.
- We don’t look at photos
- Support sees your account and billing, not your clients’ pictures. Our admin panel doesn’t even show thumbnails.

- Search engines only get what you mark as public yourself.

SilverAlbum started next to a working photo studio, out of a very practical need: deliver photos so the client doesn’t call asking where to find them, and stop retyping frame numbers from emails.
No sales team, no chatbot. Emails are answered by someone who knows the product from the inside — usually the same day.

Before you sign up
Does my client need an account?
No. They get a link and a password. They only enter an email address when they start selecting photos, so you know whose selection it is.
What happens to a gallery after 12 months?
It moves to the archive: the client can’t see it, but the files stay in your account. “Publish again” brings it back for another year at no charge. We email you 30 and 7 days before, and the client sees a countdown in the gallery.
Do you take a commission?
No. There is no print shop in SilverAlbum and no percentage on anything. You pay for storage and that’s it.
I have galleries on Pixieset. How do I move them?
Download the gallery as a ZIP and drop it into the upload window. We unpack it in your browser and folders become chapters of the gallery.
Can I turn downloads off or give smaller files only?
Yes, per gallery: no downloads (for proofing), web size (2048 px on the long edge) or full resolution.
Are the photos protected from copying?
You can add a watermark to the previews — that’s the only real protection. No browser can block a screenshot and we won’t pretend otherwise.
Is my data in the EU?
Photo files are stored with Cloudflare R2 in the EU region. The company behind SilverAlbum is based in Poland, so the GDPR applies to us directly.
How do I pay?
By card via Stripe, monthly or yearly (yearly costs ten months, so two are free). Prices outside Poland are in euro.
